Innovative Solutions Introduces ISIJet 3400 Grand Format Printer

Third Generation Piezo-Based, Billboard-Sized Inkjet Printer Proven in Round-the-Clock Production

February 2, 2005 - Innovative Solutions today announces the immediate availability of the ISIJet 3400 Grand Format Printer.

With 72 piezoelectric inkjet print heads, the ISIJet 3400 is a superwide solvent-based inkjet printer with a top speed of 1,700 square feet (158 square meters) per hour. It accepts roll media, with a print width of up to 134 inches (3.40 meters), and can accommodate media rolls up to 10 inches (25.4 cm) in diameter. Resolution on the ISIJet 3400 is 360 dpi (h) x 180 dpi (v). It uses four colors (CMYK) of solvent-based inks for printing directly to uncoated vinyl substrates, for outdoor-durable applications. The ISIJet 3400 is ideal for billboards, large banners, fleet graphics and high volume production work. The optional Wasatch SoftRIP® is available to drive the ISIJet 3400.

The ISIJet 3400 is immediately available in the US from ISI starting at a list price of $180,000 (U.S. list). The product is available outside the US through authorized ISI resellers.
